Halfling

Ella doesn't turn 7 months for a few more days yet, so I can still share some favorites from her 6month photo shoot.  The sunglasses turned out to be bigger than they looked in the store.  She doesn't much keep them on, but likes to chew on them.  She is a magnet for anyone's sunglasses.  If they are on your head and within reach, she goes for them immediately.  She wasn't quite crawling when we took these pictures, but she is now.

Girly things

Ella even has me doing make-overs . . .

 I always liked this outfit that Marlyn bought for Cole, but  he hardly ever go to wear it. (Nearly outgrew it before he could wear it.) It's a size 12 months.  Now, I don't have a problem with Ella wearing Construction Zone clothes, but I can't imagine the backlash I would get if I sent her out in this.  If she wants to get pretty dirty playing in the mud, she'll have to start out pretty and then get dirty.

Stars and Stripes

We found an irresistible bow in the grocery store during the week.   We took some pictures and sent it on to her cousin for the same purpose.  To be honest, Ella was not a huge fan of it.  Which reminds me that she has an odd habit of pulling, hard, at her hair sometimes when she is nursing.

No kidding - she is chewing on her toes.  Again.

Big Smiles from a Little Girl

Ella's favorite activities nowadays are sitting up, chewing on her fingers, and gurgling.   I thought it was my imagination, but Brad agrees that she smiles more than the other babies did at this age.  She definitely has her preferences, but if you keep her happy, she will smile for you!

I think this one has a "Rosie Riveter" feel to it!

This video from dress rehearsal isn't very great, but it was free!  Xavier is third from the right.  He did great. His work on the parallel bars is below.  He was proud that his teacher  did not have to spot him.
