More Precious than Gold

Three mischievious youth of Irish ancestry (McGary) guard their treasure at the end of the rainbow.

Hence, I cannot be silent, indeed, I ought not to be, about the many blessings and great graces God has deigned to bestow on me.

Too Many Cones

Yesterday (March 16) was free cone day at Dairy Queen. We also happened to be coming home from Huntsville. We stopped at every DQ we passed except for the one in Bastrop which we didn't see and was on the wrong side of the highway. Here are some pictures of Evan, who was by far the most excited, at each and every Dairy Queen.
Stop number one, Huntsville!!
Navasota was probably the worst ice cream but sadly it was the only full cone Mom had.
Number three was Brenham.

Last but not least, Giddings.
Two other DQs we could we could have stopped at but decided against were as I said, Bastrop, and Lockhart (Evan could have had one more in San Marcos but it was very crowded so they passed).

Queen of our Krewe

Her name, Ella, is actually derived from Eleanor, which comes from Helena, who was the Queen mother of the Emperor Constantine.  So much for her being a princess.  I have been supplanted!  But anyway,

Valentiny

Ella had some cute outfits to take Valentine photos.  However, I haven't been able to capture her at her most cooperative!
Still and all, the Schuelkes are sending you a little love from all of us and our

"Valen-tiny"

Love. . . .Love is Strange!
Like a good big brother, Xavier shows Ella how it's done.

Ella arrives

Here are some more pictures of Ella.  I think the first two show the look that is most "her".
